There are reports that cups of Chobani Greek Yogurt are actually swelling and in their containers and leaking out. It's probably a kind of mold that may have developed in the yogurt for some reason.
Some have said it tastes like wine (so maybe it's not all that bad, but probably has different effects).
Nonetheless, Chobani is handling the 'crisis' like pros - replacing any containers with the code 16-012 with expiration dates between September 11 to October 7 and answering questions and complaints on their Twitter account, turning what could be a PR nightmare into a bright positive - other companies should take note of their outstanding customer service. And consumers are truly impressed:
@Chobani thank u for replying. I'm sure my yogurt was part of ur bad batch. No worries. It happens. :-) I'll try ur product again someday.— MeganAmalie (@MeganAmalie) September 4, 2013
