High School. Those were the days. Knowing what you know now, would you want to go back?

That question comes to mind every time some "coming of age" movie hits theaters. Like this weekend's new release "21 & Over." I'm pretty sure you would agree that there were three types of people in high school: 1) The group that LIVED it up in high school because that time was truly going to be the best time in their life (not that there's anything wrong with it). Everybody needs a Jeff Spicoli, not everyone can BE Spicoli. 2) The kids who were focused on getting in, getting out, and graduating. I think that group pretty much covers most of us. We filled out our schedules, played some sports, marched in the band, went to dances, had relationships, breakups, and after four long years - graduated. 3) The kids who spent everyday wishing the whole mess was over. I kinda felt like that my Junior year. I remember sitting in Algebra class wondering, "when am I EVER going to need to know this stuff in the real world?"

Of course some of our memories of high school are attached to those experiences that would forever shape our social life. BuzzFeed has put together a cool list of the "21 Awkward Situations We All Survived In High School."

I am so glad I never have to bring a report card home anymore!
