How long would it take you to notice if your spouse switched bodies with a friend? I finally got around to seeing "The Change Up" over the weekend on HBO. Totally funny but VERY inappropriate for little eyes. I had to stop and restart the movie three times because my kids keep walking in the room. 

"The Change Up" is a classic "two friends want to swich lives" plot featuring the responsible parent whose best friend is a immature slacker. What makes this story entertaining is Justin Bateman and Ryan Reynold's performances. These guys not only nail the characters but also do a pretty good job impersonating each other.

While watching the movie, I couldn't help but ask, "I wonder how long it would take for my wife to figure out I switched bodies with a friend?" I'd probably figure out my wife's swap in under an hour. Not because her personality would change... but the fact that my wife runs our house like a Head Football coach, calling the plays and setting up the personel. The minute our day gets off schedule - I'd know that someone else had taken over her body! 

My other thought was, "I don't have any single friends anymore." Outside of my brother, my connection to the bachelor lifestyle only happens when I watch movies like "The Change Up."
