The Capital Region made this happen last night. I could not be prouder to be from the 518. You all made something special happen for these two kids that are struggling with not only what happened to them, but the loss of their closest friends. To say that you guys inspiried me last night would be a total understatement.
As someone who has not only lived in the Capital Region for my entire life...I am also raising my kids here, and after last night I have never been prouder to say that I am part of the 518 FAMILY.
Our thoughts and prayers remain will Chris and Deanna and their families...as well as Matt and Bailey and their families. Stay strong Matt and Bailey! The Capital Region loves you.
The fact that you guys took over Twitter even got the attention of Joba Chamberlain of the NY Yankees and he made a call to Matt last night as well...and retweeted some of his followers from the 518.
