Actions like these are what life is all about! Big kudos to the thoughtful guy who made it happen. Life's not always about doing things for yourself, it's about what you have to offer to other people. This small gesture will forever be remember by the recipient for the feeling he got inside when it happened, by the people who he's inspired and touched who have seen it, and humanity for a reason to be proud of mankind. This is one to share with the kids that too often use the "R" word.

This cat sure knows how to multitask, turning a chore into a game. I can say this, my floors would always be spotless if this was my cat/vacuum. 

Has anyone ever seen the movie The Holiday where Kate Winslet and Cameron Dias switch homes through an online rental program? Brian Chesky, a Niskayuna native established one of these companies called Airbnb in 2008. Since, Airbnb has become a world renown business, offering a unique travel experience in over 33,000 cities in 192 countries.

I've spent many of hours looking through the sensational spaces Airbnb has to offer and can't wait to give it a try one day. If you're into travelling and like to see places in a different way, next time consider skipping a hotel reservation and give Airbnb a shot.

Ever wonder when your kids are going to start raving about how awesome of a parent you are? As we change as we age, so does "cool" for kids. These parents did a great job of appropriately pulling off "the cool parent." The crafty lunch display and the princess carraige wheelchair are at the top of my list, however the super hero cape's at Home Depot takes the cake! So the other day I talked to you all a little bit about how much I enjoy travelling the world, today it's daydreaming about going to space.

I suppose it's possible that my children or grandchildren will have the opportunity to travel into space for their winter break. Now that will be an out of this world experience! Sorry, bad joke, but I just had to. So travelling to space will obviously be a whole new experience of adaptation. Here are some fun videos on how to do things without gravity.

How often do you find youself using acronymns while typing? As a person who doesn't love texting, but understands its benefits and adapting to changing times, I often use acronyms and punctuation to try and get whatever point I'm making through in as few symbols as possible. I find texting to be mundane and difficult to multi-task while doing so I want to be able to pump my texts out fast. Also, all too often I find text messages are misconstrued. If only there was just a symbol or two you had to put in that identified a message as sarcastic or being able to tell someone you can't text becasue you're too busy- but you're not angry in not so many words. Someone put a fun little chart together that did that- now the world just needs to learn and embrace them! How much easier would these new punctuations make your life, right? Over the past decade we have watched and experienced Facebook grow and offer greater functionality. Whether we all "liked" it or not, the Like integration really gave Facebook a new means of purpose- allowing users to share more than just personal reflections, but news stories and more. Then we'll all never forget the day the Farmville invitations started coming in. Although not my favorite, in fact, probably my least favorite part of Facebook's offerings, games really hit the spot for many users. What's coming next sounds even more revolutionary. I'va always heard that dolphins were compassionate and playful animals, but I can't believe they actually enjoy playing with domestic land animals in their natural habitat! I like to consider my dog Simon, the Michael Phelps of dogs so I can only imagine how ecstatic he would be about swimming in the ocean, let alone with a foreign animal friend. I thought I just wanted to swim with dolphins until I saw this. Sounds like Simon and I are either going to have to move to the ocean or at least make a trip out to sea!

Nothing makes me marvel more than a new landscape. There's something incredibly enlightening about seeing a different landform or place that you could only imagine as mystical until you've been there. For me the small Chinese minority village a top terraced rice fields hours from any modern city was one of the most prominent places that really opened my mind to my global awakening. The Swiss Alps and The Grand Canyon are also on the top of my list of visually appealing places I've visited. My bucket list of travel and experiences is vast and includes some of the places on this list of "25 Places You Have To See Before You Die." Have you been to any of these or do you have any of them on your bucket list?!
