Last week our nation experienced yet another child obduction. Luckily, Ethan was found and is now safe at home with his family. Although we have the highest of hopes that we're taking all the precautions necessary to safe guard our families from these types of situation, unfortunately, we can not control many of the things that are brought upon us in our lives. We can however take measures to ensure that local officials have important information on your child in the case they become the victim of such a horrible tradedy. This weekend the Albany and Rensselaer County Sherrif Departments will be holding voluntary "Operation Safe Child" in which families can bring their children to get Safe Child Cards for FREE. The police will be in two locations both Saturday and Sunday from 9am-5pm. For more information visit the Albany County website listed below.
