Cancer is a scary thing and it takes tough people to get through all of it. Last year I had the pleasure of meeting a smilie young lady named Kara where I used to couch gymnastics in Slingerlands. It was brought to my attention a few days back that the doctors found a tumor in Kara's brain. Today, Kara is undergoing surgery to have her tumor removed. All of us here at Oldies 98.3 have her in our thoughts and would like to send her our best wishes!
